thought installing these bad boys would be a little easier then it turned out to be.
alot of cutting and fitting and still not completely there, cut threw the pipe with a jig saw the first time around, threw a couple packs of jb weld on it and it hasn't leaked sense.
But the right foot well is tilted up sitting on the pipe, after ripping off my side rail caps, i decided to order another pair.
So fair ive gotten this far
Third picture, is there anyway to get that last piece of the rail cap off without ripping the bumper thing thats riveted in?
4th picture a sub to the bottom of the lake 50ft off my dock

the left side doenst look to bad, but the right side could use some tlc, how are you gonna get it to sit flat?

i have three choices
cut the exhaust pipe out, add a one way valve, go with front exhaust
level that side of the tray off with padding and leave it
or cut the well just to the pipe, my foot still fits fine, even if its cut down
the first time i glassed them in i was in a huge rush because i was leaving town for some surf riding, so i did a very ********ty job glassing them in, and noticed a leak, so i ripped them out to do it right
gonna ripped the rivets out of the bumper install the new jettrim rail caps, then just use screws to put the bumper back in

You better glass them, or you will be kicking your self down the road.

Don't forget to use epoxy resin and not polyester.

Sorry if you knew that already but it is very important.

sxr cant get waterlogged foam, it's not even sealed up from kawi. You could get some thick undermat and shape it to fit evenly (the ski tray). I'd remove the chalk and just glass them in. Try to find someone in your area to help.

Yeah , I am worried that the fiberglasss wont stick to your caulk.
Like Superramjet said , try to find someone in your area that has done this before ... Good luck !!
