I asked plenty of questions. He left all the above out. And i was happy with the pole. I guess hes mad cause i asked if there was anything i could use as bushings in the mean time.

He said he was ok with the deal, not that it was good. The buyer implyed he got less than what he expected because Mike decieved him. He said you win some, you loose some, implying he lost, and that Mike ripped him off.

That is upsetting to mike. Reguardless of who said the 1st name, the middle aged rednecks of this site probably don't like rides attitude towards sellers.

Ride could have said that he bought the pole used and there were no bushings. He didn't say that, he should have, but he didn't. I would have been annoyed by his comment if I was the seller too.

Ex. The comment that the pole was poorly packaged and scratched. Like mike said, it's used, expect scratches. The comment was made (maybe he wasn't thinking when he said it, but...) the result being a shot at mike. It was not at all relevant to his question about bushings. It was a stone throw. It was an implication that Mike was making bad deals.

He can say he is happy with the pole, you can believe that he means it, but most of us realize he's making it out as he got ripped out. He's certainly not being the bigger man, which is sad when ride can't be the bigger man than "a kid".
