I just pulled the pump out of my 90 the other day. I can measure it for you tomorrow morning if you like.

Well, from the splined end of the driveshaft to where the stator veins start is 22 1/8".

the square nose and round are the same!

Same length, but on the 650 the short shaft has smaller diameter threads.
We found that out the hard way this past weekend. We needed to replace a coupler that was on a short shaft from a 90SJ...no problem there are probably 6 stock couplers sitting around the shop because of all the drive/short shafts that we have stripped lately...but all from skis with 701's stock. And that **** just don't fit. The 701's have larger diameter coupler threads.
