man, this sections off to a great start! hehe.

What is considered vintage? The square nose I'm riding now is 15 years old. My blaster is 11.

so, a 1990 550 is vintage, and a 1990 square nose SJ is not?

I'd classify it by engine kind of. The SJ built now still runs the same crank as the original. The 800 is based on the original '92 750. Anything else would be old school? 300/440/550/x-2/650.

Good enough?

Ya, i'd say 89' or older.
I own the 113th SJ made. A 1990 Superjet I bought in May of 91 new for $4320! i wouldnt consider it old skool... I still have it! Only thing really original is the hull and a few other basic things..
I wouldnt sell it for the world.... Well, ok maybe would tradit for a Lamey cylinder and a TNT pipe!

I think 650s down should be old school.
The freeride/freestyle started with the 650s and older ski.

reading above your ski doesnt count as old school its newer than 89 and its bigger than a 650cc and the motor is based on a 750. go figure
