Taking the dash off the superjet

Anything i need to know about before I remove it? Will the stock hood latch retain its rigidity with just the turf? I know its held on by 4 rivets, but Im worried about ruining the hood latch tightness(im not buying an aftermarket at this point or any hood hooks for that matter).

I don't recall removing the dash having any effect on my hood latch or any other controls...

the dash panel is just a cover, it provides no support what so ever....

theres 2 small rivets on the bottom, make sure you get'em!
