My wife and kids went to see it yesterday while I was working. I can't believe they did that to me. Anyway, my kids can't stop talking about it. They loved it. I bet they wouldn't mind seeing it again, with me.

That was wrong SL!

I took the family out to see it last night. All but one of us thought it was AWESOME! My brother in law who never watched the cartoon couldn't get into it. His loss.

The movie was really good. I doubt it will win the best picture Academy award (mainly because this type of film never wins) but the special effects are stunning. They ARE the best I have ever seen. And, for a summer blockbuster, this one actually has a decent little story to it.

I will probably see it again!

My local paper is only giving it 2.5 stars so i thought it wouldn't be good.

Dude, you should know by now that if the paper or the film critics give it a bad review, then the movie will rock...If they give it 4 stars, then it will be the suckiest of suckness....

Scott, I think they did it on purpose so they can see it twice, LOL.

man I definately thought the movie rocked as well. As I was leaving, I heard several different girls saying that the movie was cool. These girls were obviously brought there by their boyfriends. So i would say the movie was good no matter who u are

It's already out..... :sneaky:

I watched it last night. I really wasn't expecting much.

WOW was I wrong!!!!!

My buddy and I were going to take his son. Do to financial situation he couldn't. Now I've got to go watch it on the big screen and hate for them to miss it so I'm going to surprise them with a treat on me. I will also be adding it to my collection the day it comes out.

I heard from a co-worker who went to see it, and he too liked it. He was going out of town today and was going to see it again with some friends.

Sounds like it is a good movie, I just will not spend the $$ at the theaters. Maybe when it hits DVD.

Hmmm, I guess I'll be the descenting opinion here. I thought at best it was ok.

I know that there was once a transformers cartoon (which I never watched), and if it was sticking to the cartoon's storyline (kind of like they do with some comic books), I guess I could see why they did some of the "stupid" things they did in the movie.

The CGI was very good, IMHO, but the storyline and characters were so weak that it really brought down the movie.

My advise, wait for the DVD. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Yeah, I agree. I enjoy a little eye candy, that's for sure; however, the romance part was pointless and distracting.

I do want to know what brand of truck that tow truck was. You know, in case I'm ever in a bind, knowing which vehicle has the two "hot wire" wires already stripped and sitting below the dash waiting to be twisted together could be very helpful.
