Both of these Hotels are 1/4 mile from the boat ramps and 1/4 mile from gas. Downtown Cleveland is about 2 miles away. It is a good, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. I recommend the Clifton Diner on the Corner of Clifton and W117th. I guess you can get a really good deal on them if you go to priceline.com or ask for the internet rate. These are not fancy hotels. If you want 5 star or something superpimp, stay in downtown Cleveland or somewhere further in the burbs.

EDIT: Looks like we can camp right by the ramps...no electric or fires though.

What is it like for parking skis at these hotels. I prefer motels where my ski is at my door front under lock and chain. How secure is the parking since I only have half of a enclosed trailer now

It is a good neighborhood. I would call the hotel and see what they say. If you want, I have a friend about 3 miles away from the hotel that would let you park your trailer in his back yard. Just let me know. They are really small hotels.

No disrespect intended but.................. I work on W. 117th in Cleveland and can qualify the following statement. You will need insurance if you leave your ski at a hotel in Cleveland. If it was mine I would head south on 71 to Middleburg or Strongsville and find a hotel.

I can fit a few skis/trailers in my back yard and I'm 2 minutes from the ramps. They will be guarded by dogs.

If needed, my brothers work (Ohio Technical College) is 8 minutes away. We can store skis there and will have a drop off and pick up time.

Looks like i may be sleeping in my blazer lmao! My ol' lady works for a resort broker and was gonna get me a badass room for nothing but everything in that area wasn't covered by her co. or was booked already so now i'm in cheap mode and don't wanna pay full price for a room. Least I can keep an eye on my skis that way.

camping?
Yah you know that thing you do in a tent... you know with a sleeping bag, etc. I guess if you want to call sleeping in an RV camping you could do that as well...
p.s. I have ski storage on lock... camping is still in progress... looks like mostly primitive camping... in tents, etc right now. possibly 1-2 campers...
Still working on it. P.M. if interested

Monkey, Are you on glue?
Hey if you would call me back when I call, then I would not have had that accident with the PVC glue... now I can't help myself
I guess it's a top secret location....shhhhhhh....
It's not some queer or secret spot. I got a couple properties with huge yards that I can put a few people that want to camp in. It's not in downtown Cleveland, but I am working on some camping permits for downtown area... If you would call me back you would know about that too!

Things coming together...........
more to come.
Camping on site is still up in the air, but if you really need to camp, and don't mind a ten minute drive, the Monkey can probably hook ya up.
