That was Lake Erie, shiot I though Erie always had some freekin kind of waves. That look like a duck pond. Nice vid. likin the jam.

Yep, I had ear plugs in. I learned the hard way last year. I don't normally wear my helmet on flat days because my ski and I were never good enough to get inverted, especailly without a setup wake!!! I wore the helmet last night and took a nice chunk outta the paint trying to do a BR off a 3' wave. I tucked in closer to the ski and got the most rotation ever, but landed just over half way and smacked my helmet into the handpole.
The camera is the Sony DSC-W7 with thier marine case. It actually works pretty good and the original video is much clearer. Problem is someone has to hold the camera.

yeah, we usually have chop 1'-3'... not very often that the lake is that flat. after about mid summer we start to get better southwest wind flow so we'll get more and more days with decent waves. By the end of summer/fall we get a lot more day with 3'-5' and by mid-late fall we start getting more 6'+ days... but the air will be pretty cold by then as well.
