Mick, that sounds pretty good. You had better put a brain bucket on that melon of yours. Looks like your approaching fiddy!

Yes I have one on the way from the other side of the world.. ******in thing is in metric though. Im going to try and pop the plastic off and convert it to mph with lil stickers... or maybe just put them on the outside.

Hey boys if ya wanna ride my scooter ya got to do alot of :hail::hail:
I played with the Variator for 4 hours yesterday and about 3 hours today. I finally ended up making my own weights for the Multivar (tranny) 17 mm O.D. and .475 wide. Made em out of some deliron on the lathe. Then drilled a .155 hole in each and inserted a piece of brass rod in each one. I dont have a scale to weigh each one and im sure the above is greek to some of you. However I got the ******er pulling from 10 mph all the way to 50 pretty hard. Top speed is now 58 mph. :arms::arms::arms:
I had 2 different people run next to me in there car and both said 58 mph. so Im going with 58.
Watch the video when my buddy BOB puts his hand up that signals to me we are doing 50. He has to do the ducking superman position to get his bike to 50. I can easily pass him now. :bow28:

Im sure someone makes them for the Minarelli motor. If they make em for the go peds they must make em for a scooter.
Im broke azz Motha anywayz.

Somthin blew in the rear wheel rearend/ clutch area. Oil pouring out the bottom of the tranny case. I think the clutch broke and or blew a rear end seal. Will tear into it tomorrow.
what a bitch.

Rear gear case cover had a few screws back out and loosened the cover. One back out and was rubbing the rear clutch pully. All is fixed now.

What about a dry kit,the guys I work with spray their banshees dragsters. The use a wet kit that the just drill into the intake and jb weld a fitting to it(they do it better, but thats basicly it). I think he uses a 30 shot most of the time. Anyway they talked about throwing a dry kit on a spare bike just to spray,it sprays into the air box, cheaper and easier. They dont call it dope for no reason, once you spray youll never go back.
That thing looks fun. I built a 88cc aprillia scooter. It was a blast. It was 65mph++ Could easily go down the highway. Polini makes some bad @$$ scooters too. Pulling the front wheel up out of a corner.

That sounds like a Idea if I can get some dims of the fittings and how it should be set up.
My buddy (in the video) has Aprilla SR50 with a 70cc ported and stroker crank doing 70. Then he crashed, now he is waiting on parts. Its the last year they made it with a carb. Yellow and silver one with 01 on it.
Im thinking of selling my Yellow Zuma and getting a 06 SR50. Digital dash 55 out of the box.
I ride this thing more than my RZ and FZ.

A buddy of mine has a NX system on his 82 honda express. It has a 65cc big bore kit on it and he is eating pistons like crazy. He is on his last attempt at getting it right his piston clearance is at it's limit. He is looking for a new sleeve for it. He said that when he is on the bottle it is hard to keep the front wheel on the ground. He has been into the NX a lot so he has shot everything. He had a go kart with twin 8 HP on the rear and running a wet shot to both of them. They made a jr dragster killer out of it and ran it at the strip.
I ride this thing more than my RZ and FZ.
Hehe, scooters are like that.
I was looking at the sr50 but didn't like the DI system for modding.
I'm leaning towards a Yamaha aerox 50 at the moment. They run the Minarelli LC horizontal engine. The amount of gear you can get for this engine is incredible as its used in a few other makes of scooters for about 10 yrs.
! have to do one for one of my friends shortly, it will be a stealth setup for breaking the hearts of low end car hoons at traffic lights.
This is what I have coming.
Yasuni city 16 pipe
malossi mhr rep 70cc cylinder (looks like VE cylinder inside, 3 exhaust ports)
25mm delorto carb
vforce reeds (yep, they make them for scooters!)
polini variator
kevlar belt.
check out this site if you haven't already.

Hmm V force reeds, I need them.
Here are the two sites I visit:

Here is the NOS kit: http://www.speed-sports.com/motorscooters/NOS_kit.html
I have teh K-O 21 mm carb but I went with the 19 mm carb in the kit for now.
