Well, I had bought a 62t stator from him. Transaction went well. Got my stator quick. After installing the stator, there was no spark, the stator was bad. I have attempted to contact him via phone, left voicemails, pm'd on here and emailed. Still nothing in return. Left my number everytime I pm'd and called. As far as I knew from other people this was a reliable person to buy from, but now I'm thinking otherwise. I have attempted many times to contact for a few weeks and nothing. Prolly around 3 weeks. :banghead:

If you happen to see this Butch, can you please send that pink slip for the Battle Blaster ASAP because my buddy fixed the blaster and is ready to ride on a daily basis. It's nearing 2 months and he's gonna have to pay an extra fee at the DMV. Thanks.

His work takes him out of town for days and weeks on end sometimes, check out the threads on PWCToday also......... Butch will make it right, you got to remember, we all have regular jobs and lives...... for most this is a hobby........

Butch has been good to me when I had a problem with a deal too. But in Convict's defense, 3-4 weeks is pretty ridiculous and Butch has been active online so the busy excuse only goes so far. Convict had saved $$ for a couple weeks to get this stator from nikad, just as it took him a couple weeks to pay me back when I sold him a replacement flywheel+stator. It'd take two minutes to hook him up with a refund or tell him to f off. It's sometimes easy to forget that some guys are more put out than others when left hanging.

I have been waiting on some reduction nozzels for months now.

I sent him $50 for them, and at first he didnt relize who sent it to him.... I was cool with that.

But now its been a couple more months since I got in contack with him, and I still have not recieved anything.... I have pm'd him a few times....

Well hopefully all will go well then and hopefully he is just busy. I understand that this is a hobby for a lot of people just like myself. I have heard that Butch is pretty good at getting back to people, but this has been a little while now. We will see

Butch has been good to me also, and to his credit has always come through with his parts.

BUT, the last b-pipe I purchased off him (for a friends build) took 7 weeks to get to me.

Luckily I had a pipe that my Buddy could use instead of having a ski sit and wait.:trink26:

I received one e-mail from butch early on saying he double sold the pipe, and he would take the pipe off his ski to send. (honorable in my book)

BUt, subsequent e-mails and PM's fell on deaf ears.

If he told me initially that the pipe was going to take 7 weeks, or he was waiting to get another, I would have still waited but the lack of communication is unsettling at best.

Butch does us all a favor by parting out these ski's he finds on his journeys, but i'm sure he is doing all right financially out of it also, so better communication is warranted.

He is still finding time to list on eBay. :dunno:

I think he's a nice guy as well but if no one really knew him and he was new to the boards he would be a ********bag if he did this crap. I went thru the same thing when I bought a ski from him but it worked out in the end. Dont get me wrong, I like him and he is a super nice guy but he definatelly don't get in a hurry and does things in his own time.

That pipe was off my ski.. bought it new 6 months ago !! Yes I messed up and took a $300.00 loss to make good.. how fast would ANYONE of you guys do that ?

How do you know the problem is your stator? Did you test your old one? Did you test the one that you got from Butch?

Yes, I had tested the stator from butch, no spark at all. The one I had broke up real bad and needed rewired. The one I bought from beachjunkey worked as soon as we threw it in. Of course I'm running a 61x instead of the 62t because I took what I could get on such a short notice to get my ski back in the water.
