Guys,

I've just given my bendix a good clean as it has not been engaging properly, and I noticed the flywheel has some worn teeth where the bendix kicks into it.

I was wondering if it's possible to remove the ring gear, and turn it over the other way so you have a nice fresh set of teeth? I can't see any sort of attaching mechanism or keyway, so I thought I might get a pulley puller and see if it will come off?

Good idea? Bad idea?

Leigh

Jared, I don't NEED to buy a new one, I just thought I would see if I can swap it around. It's not bad enough to throw away just yet, but thanks!
