I am getting ready to put my ski back together and I need some jetting recommendations from you guys. This is what I have got. I have taken 2 of the screens off of the carbs. Taken out the chokes and replaced with primer kit. Motor is ported by using the sport port templates. I am running stock exhaust for now and stock compression. What sizes are the stock jets and how far do you guys recommend going up. Do I change the pop off since I have taken out the screens and choke butterflies....i think i have read both ways...what should i do???? thanks all

I would go up about 15 points on High and lows......

70 l.s > 85 l.s
135 h.s > 150 h.s

open adjustments to about 2 turns out and try it out from there.........

try contacting MattE and Freestyle geek, I believe they have both used the sport port setup.

My sport ported, 180psi motor ran awesome with 75L, 135H, 1.5 n/s, 95g spring.
Those were stock 38's, no choke, and only one screen in the f/a.

Like Geek said the jetting is't really crazy on the 81mm bore ported cyl

my FS porting reguires
Main 137.5 High adj 1 1/2 turn
pilot 75 low adj 1/2 turn
stock N/S & spring

always go to the conserative side & jet down. better safe than sorry

The quoted jetting from Geek & Magoo may be a bit rich for stock exhaust.
Also, realize that you will not notice much difference from your porting with that stock exhaust.

well that expailns why i had so much trouble jetting this thing, i went with paul rec's but the spring was a 90 gm and made everything mushy, for some dumb reason i thought it was stock

with the 115 gm and the 75 pilot .....bam she hits HARD and starts a ton easier
now i just need to get some bigger mains 137.5 is just a hair to lean.

anyone know who can ship jets out mega fast
jazz has them it seems but shiping for ground ups is 13 bux<

hay paul are you up and running yet? got any 140 and 142.5's
