help what mods to do to this superjet.

hey guys going to pick up a 701 SN wednesday, it is mostly stock other than prop intake grate ride plate, what mods after footholds should i start with for the money, head, pipe, what do you guys reccomend doing first?

Congratulations.

Get a pipe. B-pipes are probably the best. Then get a head or a thinner head gasket. I have a spare 701 head for sale you could cut if you want.

remove the rev limiter.

Ive got stock boats that are limited by the factory CDI rev limit

Footholds/turf...Impeller/Intake grate(yes get both)......then go into motor mods if so inclined

I have a stock head that is cut if you want to go that route - it is good for pump gas and is a good way to get some performance cheap!
