I have heard a few people talk about how they get groups together for rides at LOTO, I also read a forum where someone was talking about how cool it would be to see like 20+ skis cruise through Party Cove. Big wake is never at a shortage also!

Thought I would see if we could set a weekend and get as many people as we can together for a pretty big group ride. A friend of mine has a buoy course set up in a pretty quiet cove, with big waves near by. I am open for any weekend, but I know SXR;Lou and some of his friends come down as a group, if you guys could throw out possible dates of rides you are going to have at LOTO, that would be a good starting point.

Very good post onesojourner you covered it well. I have 3 camp sights resv. in sec 1 at Lake of the Ozark state park #7,8,9. for Fri and sat night for the riders coming from stl. which is around 11 of us. Others are grabbing sights close by and I just checked there are pleanty left. Any and all are invited, the game pane is to meet up Sat. in the water at the public ramp, which will drive to from the camp ground. That ramp puts you right in the thick of things! I've been to lanier for four days at freeride '05, the waves at L.O.T.O are without a dought larger!! And party cove o' geez THAT you must experence for yourself!! Lou

If you are planning on going the waves are worth the drive, it’s a real blast hanging out if front of party cove playing in the waves. Better get your rest.

281 miles - not bad. I'll have to look into it a little more. My wife would be 8 months pregnant on the 3rd of June, but maybe I could think of some excuse to drive that way alone . . . parts delivery or something.

It’s well worth the trip to ride down there in the waves. Maybe not with all the couches that will be there at this ride but the waves are great. The St. Louis crew will be heading there throughout the summer we will be posting our rides.

its just the 2 of us at the campsite, you are welcomed to park there, camp there, eat,sleep,drink, and hang out there. ( bring your own tent! haha)

Ive got site 010, in section 1 of the state park reserved, its a back in site, with woods behind it, right across from SXR Lou and his crew.

We are planning to smoke some boston butts for tacos and sandwiches, and throw a rack or 2 of ribs on if the party is there.

oh yeah, the campsite capacity is 6 people, and from what I am reading they allow ski trailers in the grass ( not required to park on the pad).

Last week when I made the reservations there were still a lot of campsites available, the bill for Friday night and Sat night was $36.50
so, im guessing it wont fill up ( assumption on my part) but yall are also welcomed to crash at our site if you want to, or if the need arises.
