Looking for someone to ride with on or near the Macdill AFB. I know there's no surf, but I just need to get out and ride as much as possible, so when I ride the surf, I don't get my arse handed to me

Very cool. What's your AFSC?

I'm actually from Clearwater and whenever I'm home from school I ride at Dunedin with the guys you've already ridden with.

I actually graduate from Auburn University and commission into the Air Force on 9 May(I took the ROTC route).

On 29 May I report to Maxwell AFB for ASBC and then I report to Columbus AFB 14 July for Pilot Training.

Anyways I try to ride as much as possible when I'm home and definitely plan on bringing the ski with me to UPT. Where at Macdill do you launch from?

I didn't know the base had a boat ramp. I do know they have some tight restrictions as far as getting close to the base with a civilian boat. I never thought they would have a boat ramp and area for the military guys to use on their own time. Maybe they do.:dunno: That would be awesome if they did.

Yes, Macdill has a boat ramp and there are restrictions, you have to head out the channel to a certain point, there are markers that you have to be past or get in trouble. I haven't launched yet, so no idea how far I have to ride out yet. Plan to launch the boat sometime soon. I'm a 2E171, satellite communications craftsman.

On a better note, my ski's are now home, storage cleared out, so soon I can start wrenching on my ski at home.. :Banane01: :Banane01: :Banane01:
