Sounds like a plan to me  I need to run my ski before I take it to the surf the following weekend. Never launched at the state park either - I'm still exploring. I'll PM you me cell phone number.

I would love to hit it! I ordered some stuff for my RN this past Monday, so I doubt I would have it ready to ride Saturday. If I come, I'll be sporting the square! Any chance you all would like to ride Sunday instead of Saturday? I have some dirtwork I really needed to get done at a house this weekend, and the developers don't allow any work to take place on Sundays :frown: (keep the noise down, etc).
It's supposed to be a bit warmer Sunday also.

Sunday would be better for me too.
Hey Adrian.....while you're out there cruise over and check out the sand bar in Town creek that I was telling you about. From the state park beach, go right into Town Creek (away from Guntersville). After you go under the causeway go left and then it's about a half mile up on your right. You should be able to do round trip with under a half tank easily.

Are there scantily clad women that hang out at the sand bar?
Yes....especially in warmer weather. I used to go there back before it was very big. There would only be a few boats there on a weekend. Now it gets covered up, sometimes two boats deep. Town Creek is pretty cool because it's deep water unless you go all the way to the back and there are NO WEEDS. Another thing that you guys don't appreciate is that there are also no freaking gators to deal with. It sucks when you have all this water that you can't use because of toothy critters.

I was looking on Google Earth for that, and I couldn't figure out where you mean. Take a look and send me some coordinates if you have a moment. Also, I'm definitely going to be down your way next weekend, so we need to make a plan to ride either Saturday, Sunday or both.

im up for sunday, havent had a chance to tune my carb yet but it should be done by sunday. still breaking in new motor, only been run for 20 minutes. the sand bar is nice, theres a swing there also for anybody that likes a good swing. usally plenty of women there. all the gadsden boys other than me went to gardendale on a jeep ride. name a time. i will probally still show up tomorrow after my class in the morning, be around 2ish. could be in campground,i know some people camping this weekend. look for a red jeep

I'm not good enough to send you a link, but it's a natural sandbar created from a little stream that comes down the valley. The resolution isn't good enough for it to show up. Much of it is under water at full pool. Look at:
34deg 24'32.54"N
86deg 10'08.27"W
give me a call about next weekend. I might be spending one of those days in Tampa getting graphics done, but I should be up for a ride the other day.

Cool - thanks. Can't wait to go there now this summer. I'm just hoping that the women there are less skanky than the ones that used to hang out at the Redneck Riviera...!
PM me your cell number - I'm not sure I have your new one.

Sorry Steve - I didn't get your message till late yesterday - I was out doing yard work all day (which involved alternately cutting a patch of grass, fetching the tools to put the drive belt back on, cutting another patch, fetching tools etc. until I finally decided I needed a new drive belt!!)
I'm not going to make it today - sorry guys. I have a 10 day old head cold that's decided to turn itself into a sinus infection - I don't think an injection of guntersville lake water is quite the best remedy....
Plenty more weekends though: I'm looking forward to hoking up with some other riders this summer.
Steve, I talked to Wade on Friday - did he get hold of you? He needed some help putting a Sea-Poo motor back in. He's still threatening to get his SN back on the water....

Since Adrian is bailing on me, and Guntersville is a 45 minute or so drive for me, I'm gonna hit Triana and go hang out with my Riviera ladies. If anybody wants to hook up out there, let me know. I should be out there around noonish.:woot: I used some 6 year old scotts grip glue last night on a grip that kept fallin off...we'll see if it can stay on today! ha!

You all missed a good ride today! I went to the Riviera! Some guy in a wakeboat kicked up a nice wake for me until I got worn out....and there was some woman there that was laying out topless where she though she couldn't be seen! bwahaha....she couldn't be seen from the shore....but she could be seen from offshore! I jammed my thumb, but I had a damn good time!!!:Banane01:

oooooh..! I had a nice getoff also! ....doing at least 50 or so. :burnout: I skipped across the water like a smooth stone until my head or a limb caught the water. It had to look good from the shore. It would have been neat to see it as a spectator!

He he: true dat.... I really didn't want any of the beautiful clear blue water (!!!) in my sinuses yesterday - did that before and got a pretty good infection. I'll be in Daytona next week, and I'd rather have everything working properly.
