View Full Version : RMBC's Texas observations & ramblings...

Well as I was trying to stay awake on the drive home, these were some of my thoughts. It was like 2:00AM, Glory and 63 were sleeping and I was in a road-coma stupor trying to amuse myself and stay awake.

Feel free to add to this and comment. I know I forgot more than I can remember at this point... Here goes:

1) Our Texas friends, both new and old, are the coolest people ever. Period.
2) Especially Austin-ites… and of course the Houstonians are OK too…
3) That skinny plumber from Dallas has the worst luck…
4) The Penguin is the host with the most! Killer Fajitas & thanks for letting us crash.
5) 63chevyll has a story to go with any topic, we know, we spent 17+hrs on the road with him each way, and laughed our asses off.
6) His dually and golf cart rock! His Superjet is questionable… haha
7) Colorado crew brought the jet-ski team and the drinking team… 63chevyll plays both sides of the ball very well… LOL
8) Rummy-worms are evil, slimy and the "juice" is deadly to Penguins.
9) The "fun cart" rules!!! Two stroke, blue smoke dune jumping, fire crashing, cone smashing… it’s a party on wheels… race ready as Brad says.
10) Chicks dig the fun cart!!!
11) It needs a tuned pipe and porting!
12) Jello shots are only slightly less evil than rummy-worms.
13) Silver Bullets taste better at the beach.
14) Silver Bullets disappear quickly at the beach.
15) "Fixing" a superjet with an axe tends to draw a crowd!
16) I can’t believe I sold Peter123 a broken Superjet… honestly, that was not my intention, sorry again… I will make it right.
17) The "zoo" is overrated IMO… maybe I’m just getting old, but If I wanted to sit in traffic with a bunch of idiots and the cops, I would just drive up to I-10…
18) Zach is 16, he’s in a band, he plays drums, they have a myspace page, he’s half my age (I’m 26 according to him).
19) All Stock is a shadow of his former self, and gives one helluva back rub! Lookin’ good and he made the paper too… I want his autograph.
20) All Stock’s Jerk chicken legs are not hot enough for this Colorado boy… try harder next time. But they were very tasty.
21) Two skinny white boys cannot make the fun cart do wheelies, even if they both own Octanes…
22) Hanging way off to the side of the fun cart like a sidecar monkey makes it slide around the sand like a drift car… sweet!
23) Riding the back of the fun cart while scaling the dunes = ejection. And a long walk thru the dune grass.
24) Jeremy Parr is a stud.
25) Bonzai Bob and yamahammer build some sweet stuff… and I still can’t tell them apart. Want to build me a trailer?
26) Apparently they can make metal flake paint stick to a gas tank… and to any part of a Blaster for that matter, nice work.
27) Don’t walk in on an inebriated Penguin at 3:00AM… just turn around and leave until he wobbles his way from the bathroom back to his bed…
28) My LPW small-bore 5mm stroker Able Billet motor simply rules! Those who rode it will agree… I hope… thanks again Paul.
29) My SuperJet is very photogenic.
30) I avoided the green Tequila!!!
31) NelsonLT1 and I must look alike from the back… some girl jumped on my lap thinking I was him… he must be a stud like Jeremy Parr!
32) Pismo anyone???.... CoTex Alliance Road Trip!!!!! Let's start planning NOW!
33) That’s all I can think of for now… Maybe Glory and 63chevyll can add anything that I've forgotten.

I like cherry bombs better than rummy worms.
I get grumpy when drenched at midnight in my sleeping attire.
I've conveniently forgetten everything I saw at the zoo.
Your spouse can tell what you've been up to by the smell of your laundry.
I'd bet JonnyB talks more than 63Chevell on a road trip.
Don't try to save sail boats when your own superjet doesn't float indefinately.
Christopher can rock it on a 650SX and a pit bike for that matter.
Kansas people have sweet skis, are super-friendly and don't want to be seen as "moochers".
14 yr olds from Kansas have X-Jets too and can rock them.
Given a chance to ride a standup, any sane person will want one.
Sleeping on sand is for suckers.
No, Coloradians are the coolest jet-skiers ever!
All Stock is just as sexy without his previous 45lbs.
Parrdaddy likes to spoon and be in the back.
2stroke blenders don't need to be warmed up before WFO.
Sharon doesn't get enough credit for being the best chef (and Vet) on the beach.
Pismo here we come!

I think you'll get over that as long as you don't take into consideration that a lot of that "water" flowing in that mini-canal from the dunes was actually "processed beer".

Geez....where to begin

The Texas ride is my absolute favorite- no if, ands or butts...hehe
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE rummy worms:Banane01:
Penguins tend to get pissy when given the wrong diet
Penguins also don't like to sleep with crawdads
Why are bodily noises so damn funny
Never trust someone who says they are going to let you have the good bed
Apparently rummy worms in engine compartments make skis run better
I got to witness a virgin suck head for the first time:sneaky:
Parrdaddy likes to sing
Allstock likes to put his sticky tongue in your ear
Texans 'aquire' a lot of firewood
Yamahammer does not like to look the devil in the eye:sgrin:
When holding a waterballoon slingshot...never, never, never trust your buddy - even when he has earned your complete trust
Mick makes the best blender drinks - hands down

I'll be back with more

Here's a couple:

Golf carts are fun to drive WFO in the dark, pit bikes are not.

Possibly blowing 3 of the 4 ligaments in your knee sounds a lot cooler then it really is. :banghead:

Getting back on the pit bike after you crash and blow out your knee IS a good idea, just let someone else start it.

I need to stop sitting on ParrDaddy's lap when I'm drunk, someone ALWAYS get a picture.

If it's past 4:30am and you're not in the good bed, I'm taking it, all promises are off.

It's really easy to lose stuff when you're drunk driving a golf cart at 3:30am.

I have yet to meet anyone in Texas that I didn't like.

Penguin and Yamaslut are the best hosts ever, period.

It's fun to Barrel Roll three different skis in 15 minutes.

RMBC's ski would be much more photogenic if he would get inverted on it.

No matter how messed up my knee is, I WILL NOT GET A SEA DOO.

But with the 3-D you can have it all. Standup like you're used to. MX like the pit bike. And cart, like the golf cart you took on the dunes. It'll be the best of all your world's in one goofy as$ ski.:arms:
