63.1 is the temperture at the bouy about 20 miles offshore.

current beachwater temp is fairly close to that but probably a bit cooler. If the weather stays warm over the next week - we might hit 65º (surf temp) by next weekend.

so far the forecast is for air temps in 71º range during the day.

Those were water temps. I hope you're right Penguin. Daytime shore temps have been around 61.5 so far. We have 75+ forecast for the next few days, but there will be some showers forecasted. May cancel out the Sun and heat.

Lets just hope the sun is OUT and its at least 71 degree's. Oh yea with no sand storm either!!! Im hoping for more than 2 foot chop.

took my first ride yesterday. water temps are below 60 here and it was not bad.

Looks like a cold front is heading in this weekend. Air temps are only going to be mid 60's with a 30% chance of showers. Should still be a good time. Just stoke that bonfire like crazy. Just don't let an Aggie build it. It would start competing with the lighthouse.

Friday looks like the day for Surf!! suppose to be windy Tomorrow.

Well, looks like I was off by a day. Today is going to be 72 and partly cloudy with high winds. Tomorrow is 66, nothing but sun with slight wind.

I'll still take Saturday. I'd like that extra 6 degrees, but nothing but sun will definitely make up for it.
