You will be hosing yourself with the garden hose, taking dumps behind the garage, buying her eveything, you will have car to buy when she's 16, college tuition, and then some lowlife is going to Marry her and guess who pays??,,The wedding is relatively cheap compared to the open Bar tab at the reception.....

OK, here is the deal........... I will be looking for a 2020 Model Hyper Jet (unless Yamaha has still not changed anything other than RBNG!!), Footholds preferred.......... Power, well lets just say Nuclear Powered Lamey Big Bore will do!!!!!!!!

But back to the good stuff, I got some great parents, I really think I can wrap them around my finger......... wait, already have......... At the moment I am in the NICU unit (got to get my blood sugar levels under control, kinda like getting carbs tuned to get that fuel air mixture dialed in), I hope to be out in a few days but it ok, Got some really great nurses who take care of me and all my friends, they have been wonderfull..... My parents come visit me several times a day, even trying to make me wake up when I dont want to.......

As soon as I can I will post some pics of my parents for you all to see....
I may in time change my screen name to "Isabella" after a while, have to try out this "Lil' Kahuna" name......... what do you all think???

Later Peeps...

Anita got released today, Isabella is still in the NICU (Neonatel Intensive Care Unit), but things are going great, her sugar levels have stabelized out, all IV lines removed....... But, her Billy-Ruben (Jaundice) level got to high so they have her under a light, but nothing to worry about, very common for infants.

Guys and Gals, I appreciate all the kind words and phone calls, At times I have not been able to return some calls, you would not believe how hectic it can be......... And we did not even have the little one in our room with us...

We finally got to hold her tonight when we went back for the 9:00 feeding...... This has been really hard for us, especially Anita, we have been able to touch her and such but not really hold her, Anita held her for just one feeding earlier today, but did not get to cuddle with here, soon as the feeding was done she was back on the table, tonight the Nurse let Anita pick her up and just hold her after feeding....... IT was a great thing, Anita was kicking out some huge crocadile tears......... I not gonna lie, I held her afterwards and kicked out a few tears also!!!!!!!!!!! You would be amazed at just how much a kid will change your life!!!!!!!!

I hope to get some pics posted later on, have to be up in 2 hours to help "The Supposed Wife" wake up and pump!!!!!!!!! then clean the bottles etc etc etc.......... and to think, the little one is not even here and we will be up at the middle of the night!!!!!!!!!!!

I know exactly what you mean. When Eric and Ashley were born, I shed some tears too. There is NOTHING more special then bringing a child into the world. Best two days of my life. I still remember every detail like it was yesterday. The great news is that it only gets better, there are so many special moments/events that you will experience.

I'm really glad everyone is doing well. Keep up the great work and enjoy every moment.

update.......... Isabella is out from under the Lights and the heat lamp, she is in a regular crib, but still in the NICU area for observation, the lights (Jaundice) makes her really tired. Because of being tired she is not taking the bottle so they are having to feed her through a tube down her throat (after trying to bottle feed for about 20 minutes first), they do not want her burning energy just from eating...... Hopefully she will be home in a few days........ I will try to post some pics later, going to take a nap, been at the hospital all day, wiped out.......... It gets really emotional when you are in there, overwhelmed by Isabella, then seeing all the premie's in there....... just today I heard them talking to the Dr about a girl that was 21 weeks pregnant in labor, water broke etc........ they asked him to talk to the girl and her family (Family has requested that they do everything possible), the Dr's response........ "There is nothing that I can do, put 4 or 5 chest tubes in over a course of days or weeks only to watch the baby bleed out, there is zero chance of survival with this case...........", I was sitting in a chair holding Isabella at the time. I looked down at her and started squalling..... Just thankfull that she will be ok soon.......... I now say a prayer for each baby in there........... So, for whatever ride we do, lets please do some kind of charity for Children (Hospital, etc...), Kathy understands exactly what I am talking about.

Again, thanks for all the kind words.

Harrison, Anita and Isabella.........

Harrison, Anita and Isabella.........
With as many babies that the X will be having this year, I think a Children's Hospital benefit is in order for "The Ride". I had 3 nephews that benefited from services of Children's Hospital & without that care, I don't believe any of them would have made it.

I'm glad that Isabella continues to improve & we all anticipate the day she can come home.

Harrison, Anita and Isabella.........

Unfortunately, I know exactly what Harrison is talking about first hand..... When we first started planning this Lanier Ride - I asked the guys about using Egleston Hospital (NICU and Cardiac) for the charity...... I feel Egleston gave me 2 1/2 years with my son Patrick..... Had we not had that wonderful hospital in Atlanta - I don't think I would of had that precious time with him....

Egleston turns no child away no matter what!!! They are around due to private funding by people just like you and I....... Either way - I do love the idea of the charity they listed for Lake Martin too! (if we decide to go that route). But whatever everyone decides is great with me.....

Hang in there Harrison, Anita, and Isabella - I truly believe that you will all be home together soon.......

well, Isabella had a small step backwards last night, they had to use a feeding tube 2 seperate times during the night, so, she has to start over. Meaning she has to go 2 complete days of taking 65 cc's of milk/formula at each meal every 3 hours...... So, she has done good today, but if she gets to say the end of tomorrow and will not take in the required amounts and they have to tube her to feed, then the timer starts over again............. It a little disapointing, but we got hope and faith, just a matter of time until she is ready.......

well, she had to be tubed 2 times last night also... seams that all the hard work during the day is making her too tired at night to eat (pun inteneded), so, the clock started over again this morning....... Anita is exhausted and taking it hard (thinking the exhaustion making it worse). I know that it just a matter of time but it is frusterating. Thanks for all the support guys... really helps....

Did not post yesturday, Isabella had a setback sunday night late, they found blood in her stool, they do not think it is anything serious, xrays and blood work are clear, but they are not taking any chances, she is back under the warmer table (not a crib) and on IV solution. So, back to square one again......... the feeding will start back up in a few days......So, at least a week probably....

well, Isabella started out at 10cc's yesturday........ this morning they jumped to 30 cc's but they are getting converned about IV line input locations, running out of veins, the antibiotics that they are giving is very harsh on the veins which will cause them to "blow out", nothing major, but they have to relocate the lines when this happens (yes, they heal back).

Well, Anita and I got there about 8:00 PM to find that they did find another location on her head, her left hand had a strip of gauze holding it down so she would not pull it out........... no, she has not done that yet but she is a master at pulling the OG feeding tube that goes to her stomach right on out, not out a bit, all the way out, 21 cm's worth of tubing!!!!!!!!!!!! back on topic...... Isabella is now taking 40 cc's of milk, the Doc called late and said that since they are concerned about IV locations and that she has been taking the milk and handling it well that they should try upping the milk and reducing the IV amounts............ so far so good..........

stay tuned for further updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Izzy is up to 50 cc's as of yesterday morning, she was doing some spitting up so they said they were not going to up the amounts any, at the 7:15 feeding last night she did not spit up at all, so may mean she is getting use to that amount and can handle it, at the earlier feeding she did not want to take the last 10 cc's and she was telling us, she would suck it in and push it out just as fast (imagine a pump, suck in from nipple, pump out the side of the mouth as fast as she was sucking!!!!!)..... so, a short while later she spit up a pretty good amount.............!!!!!!!! hopefully the IV line will come out today and maybe get her home by late tuesday or wed.
