well it is nothing serious but the week before daytona i went out riding some MX. i had a couple a little falls being it was my first time actually riding a bike hard again since september when i was hurt REAL bad. but i washed out in the mud and thought huh my hand hurts, so i let it go until last week and thought i should look at it, turns out the outer bone in my hand is broke. so they put a cast on and all that, well heres the result three days later. a dremel cutting wheel and a steady hand are all i need haha. the bad part is that last january i broke the two middle bones skiing and cut it off after 3 weeks. my doctor was pretty angry i wonder what he will say now haha. its not like my hand is still broke its just barely starting to heal together (cause i have been using it) but i couldnt handle having another one of these ********ty casts.

Ouch...that looks painful. :frown:

I'm sure it will heal up soon; at least you didn't burn your fingers on a dry pipe like this guy did.

I cut a cast off my wrist when I was younger from an mx accident and now 17 years later I need reconstructive surgery on it. Had the cast on for 4 days, and then we got some huge surf and I felt that I HAD to cut it off to go surfing. Actually now that I look back on it, it was worth it lol.

Why dont you contact jmeadlock here about not wearing a cast............ 1-2 years later still having troubles then had reconstructive surgery.......

There is a reason the Doc put a cast on, put it back on, lay some glass over it and wear it............

 :sneaky:

i was waiting for someone to say that...... cutting that cast off is like taking a hit from a 30ft. beer bong and not knowing what is being poured down it, its not the brightest idea and you will pay for it in the long run

WOW those finger pics are terrible!!! hopefully it was hot enough to cartorized the nerves so he didnt feel that.

Cutting your cast off seems like a stupid thing to do but when I had a cast on my ankle(had a few real bad breaks) I wanted to go swimming real bad(beer and girls envolved) so I just jumped in. later that night I went home and cut my cast off with a matabo. turns out I did the right thing by cutting it off because my skin would have died very deap if I kept it on wet. worse part was it was a friday night and the doctor was gone for the weekend so I got to go castless all weekend.

thats why i cut mine off last year. the one i cut off now was only suppose to be on for two weeks, because it is almost healed all the way... i mean how long has it been since the week before daytona?? i would have left it on but my main problem is its really hard to write with it on and i could understand whet i wrote in all my math classes.

sorry..... not gonna buy it...

that picture is so photoshoped it's ridiculous. Why does it appear that he burned through the bone???? You would no be standing there like that... that dude would be in intensive care w/ serious issues. not to mention risk of infection. What are the teeth around the edges and why do the blur on the edges??? WHat are the other scales??? come on dude, you can do better than that....

I worked in a Machine room in the Navy and saw lots of burns... that just doesn't look like anything I've ever seen

sorry but why would you have something like that and have no evidence that it had been bandaged up already... if it was that abd you would be at the ER getting it treated instead of sitting in front of your laptop at your desk taking a picture of it.

if you are gonna photo shop something atleast do it with something a little more believable

I wish I still had pics from when my table saw got hold of my left index finger, midde, ring, and thumb in 8th grade. I also took off a cast/bandage early and now I can't bend my left index finger:banghead: :frown:
