lets see what you got, even if you got alittle video clip of something toss it in there for some fun. and some action shots are cool too.

the first pic is my (and my old mans) 450, the second is my 250f. got two others but they are for sale. next one is the 90ft triple at e-ville from last year (4th gear flat out on 250f). that ramp isnt really for MX bikes but a pond jump in my front year for bicycles. (not me in the pic by the way) the other one is just a fenderkiss at a practice track.

i got some short clips i will put them up later after work..

Here is a pic of me on my 05' YZ125 throwin a little whip and a pic of my 06' CRF450 leftover I just got back in november.

Here is a video I made a while ago to: YouTube - 2nd Riden Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeoKb6LuP7M)
The music is obnoxious, but it's all I could think to throw in there at the time. I'm 14D on the YZ125 and on the holeshot in the beginning on the 250F. My buddy Evan is on the KX450F, and Justin is on the quad. Hopefully I'll get someone to record some new stuff soon because that stuff is from a year or two ago.

KX454 where is sweet valley at in PA east or west?

kx454

northeast PA, about a half hour from wilkes barre area..

is that some ATCO footage in the video???

i need some newer stuff also

ANT
02-05-2007, 10:34 AM
Yeah thats Atco. I havent been there yet this year, I wanna see how they changed the track. I hope they got rid of the three little doubles next to the finish line, they are so gay. I'd like to see them put in a SX style rythm section and maybe make some berms in some turns. All of their turns are one line turns, I mean theres outside lines, but they're so slow. if they do that stuff maybe I could justify the $35 per practice fee.

the only downfall atco is when they have two events runnign at the same time.... other than that it's a decent venue, when i am letting the car cool off, i go over and watch some mx for a little bit

i'll do it on a day when they are not running any events.....

KX, is that your 250F in those vids? Cause if it's your 450, more power to ya cause it takes a lot to scream a 450 that much and hang onto it.

kx454
02-05-2007, 06:32 PM
haha nah i wish i could scream my 450 like that, i dont have any videos on the 450 actually (on my friends camera)..but at that track i am about 2 seconds a lap faster on the 450 then on the 250f only because there is a section in the back which i can quad on the 450 and it saves a huge amount of time, but the 250 is more fun to throw around.

yeah my buddy has an 06' KX450F and 06' KX250F and I love the way the 250F handles. THe 450's power is real broad, but the 250 just handles so awesome. I rode it at atco, wasn't even my bike, and by the second lap on it I was already doin all the jumps on the track. He got the suspension done by PR2 and it turned out pretty good.

Yeah those aluminum framed YZ125's are flywheights. I just re-built the entire tranny in mine and got it back together just last week after about two months. In the meantime i bought a 06'crf450 so i thought it would be no problem to sell the 125 but i after i rode again i forgot how light, fun, and fast the thing was. I had it ported and it has a pipe on it and the mid to top on it is un-believable for a 125. I def wanna keep it to scoot around on when i wanna take afun ride.

it's all rider baby.
comparing mx bikes to sit downs is just simply wrong man. the level of mental focus and skill required to pilot a mx bike around triples and whoop sections or even technical trails at a harescramble cannot be compared to that of a sit down racer navigating through buoys. the worst thing the sit down racer maybe prone to is hemmaroids:biggrin:

chart102 in harescrambles i race open A, in MX this year i am staying B until May because i am gonna try to go to lorettas again (got hurt last year at the regional qualifier running 3rd :bad3: ) but after the qualifier i will be going A. and i also run collegeboy.. what do you run?

chart102
02-09-2007, 12:06 AM
before i sold my 250 i ran A. if i were to try to qualify for Lorettas (im way to out of shape and cant afford it) i would probably run B. but since Im getting this 125 to play around on, i dont care what i class i race. im just gonna try and demolish as many four strokes as possible (no offense) i actually had a 99 yz 400 and loved it, until it blew. i just dont have any reputible mechanics around here and i dont feel like even attempting to tear one of those things apart. i guess im old school even though im only 21. four strokes are nice to ride though, i cant make myself get armpump on them. even with 1 1/2 foot breaking bumps. they are just so smooth they kind of bore me. oh well at this point in my life im not out to win any championships so i dont care if im on the best bike. i just know that it feels good to be the only 2 stroke out there and waxing most everybody else.

ill post pics of me ridiing in a few days. i need to get them off my buddys computer. i will also get more when i get my 125.

snow ridin is sick! We have about 6 inches of snow with a 3 inch coating of ice on top. 45 mph 360's on the quad are crazy fun. It is so much fun to be able to ride anywhere and not even make tracks!

finally got this thing last weekend. so far i put stock graphics back on, got a gripper seat cover, replaced the top end, and re packed the silencer. oh yeah and put new numbers on. its not what my 06 RM 250 (2 stroke) was, but it is hella fun to throw around. i also had fun last sunday messin with the 250fs. there are a lot of little hotshot kids whose parents buy them 2 new bikes every year at the track. im out of shape, but id get out there for a few laps at a time and stick on there azzes like glue, and then pass them. it took everything i could get out of that 125 but i enjoy riding with that intensity. and its funny to go back to the pits and having all those dudes and their crews look over at me sittin on the tailgate of my truck. i know what they are thinkin. lol

my blaster- its small but it's still a lot of fun. It's got v-force 2 reeds, Fatty pipe +PC2 silencer, Wiseco piston, hot rods crank, and some other stuff.

P.S. I do wash it every now and then!

the graphics were all on the bike when I got it. I never would have put them on, especially because I try to keep a rule about putting stickers from companies who never gave me anything.

BUT......man, I'm such a Rockstar energy drink addict that.....I felt it was fitting.

My warrior I bought at Christmas. '02, really just a pipe on it, nothing fancy, but I run it wide open and I love it.

The videos... These are the only videos I have. At the time, I didn't know what was wrong and rode it anyway, turns out, the valves were shot and I couldn't get more than half throttle w/o loosing compression. I changed my shifting and was doing my best.

The landing was hard, I jumped about 8' father than everyone else and hit the rut. No tracks, the terrain is suckness.

Blown valves again, rough terrain, not a maintained track. My riding really sucked there, not that it gets much better, but I was more taking a ride than riding out. No powah!

This was my 1st 2 wheeler, 1st 2-stroke, and 1st serious injury. I was putting arround the track getting comfy with the big jumps, jumped onto the table top, went to jump off, hit the powerband in the air and hit the ground flat on it's side with my foot under the engine. Crushed it. Too bad noone explained to me the powerband on a 2-stroker before I got on the track (Had ridden in the woods prior). The day I sold my 94 KX125 for $1000, I purchased my '87 650sx for $800. It was a sad day, and a great day, at the same time.

http://a659.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/00365/85/60/365130658_l.jpg

This was my pit bike I rode after I recovered from crushing my foot. I'm trying to sell it now that I have my warrior. The KX125 is sold.

The fam, on the right was my second bike, a poleris automatic. It was a good learner, but left me thinking very little of quads, the warrior is a whole new kind of riding.

I wish I could have a YFZ450 race quad, and a YFZ250 bike, but I can afford neither, and wouldn't have time for another 2-wheeler.

SSR 110, soon to have a Lifan 140 BVH big bore. I also have a '97 Warrior, holeshots, durablue axle, pipe, and some other goodies but the transmission grenaded on me. Vumad, check out the new plastic sets they have for the warriors, they match the new warrior 350/yzf/raptor style.

I don't like the Raptor 350 or Raptor 660/700 plastics. The YFZ is pretty cool, but I wouldn't spend the few hundred on plastics on an old bike. I wish I had a 450 because they are liquid cooled, and mostly the power.

my 400ex feels like a stock superjet, the 450r feels like one with a pipe and head

you better clean all that dirty nasty 2stroke oil gunk off of your PV! :nana:

i used to pull/sand down my PV every month at least. those things get gnarly nasty. :puke:

really?

My engine stays pretty clean inside. But I run R-50 and do teardowns every 50hrs.

you ever pull your PV out of your cylinder? you'd be surprised!

You got that right! I replaced the piston in my 99 kx just for maintance. The valve was inop. do to carbon build up. It runs so sweet now. I gave it a new maxxis for xmas.

Yea, KX's have that rack and pinion setup for the PV's. The buildup wreaks havoc on that design.

i dont know what settings the mini's run, but i know from the big bikes, sliding your tubes up 10mm is a HUGE change in geometry!

put it this way.. the higher up they are, the better it will turn... the lower they are (longer wheelbase), the better you will have high speed stability

Cool, thanks :icon16:
