thought you might like to see a truck motor blow up (got some video)

i got some good pics and a few videos of me and a few friends having fun with an old truck. there is a story behind some of these pics. well she has an uncountable number of stop signs smash with that bumer, the hood latch no longer works so its ratchet strapped down, the stacks are functional thanks to hollowed out cats and cherry bombs, we hit about 10 guard rails at various speeds, hit enough trees to make a man cry. i spun it out into a ditch at 30 and it smashed the front end it, my friend hit a concrete barrier at 25 or so and it did what you see to the headligh and drivers side front. we were rippin on a dirt road and the fender hit the tire and blew it out at about 40 and that sucked us into a ditch, needless to say we walked for at least an hour and a half to find cell phone service to get pulled out (in 14 degree weather in the middle of nowhere, we got pulled out and drove it on the rim for 6 miles when the cast aluminum rim then blew apart, man did it make an aweful noise while driving. the white rim thats on it was taken from some random guys yard. the oil pump then quit a mile from my house so we left it in a ditch overnight. we pulled it out of the ditch today, and got it somehow running and drove it home and now you see the video of the motor blowing up. its got a good stereo though with a sub self tapped to the plywood back window. this truck was given to us for free to haul logs to the mill and deliver firewood, no worries though as we have a freshly rebuilt 318 ready to be put in. notice the duct tape race stripes, motocross and such stickers everywhere. its also on its 4th rear (burnouts are not good for it) its not inspected and its got farm truck insurance and it is claimed to have 4airbags and all this crap(insurance is 30 beans a month) hope you get a laugh from it. the first pic is how it was before the weekly beatings.

in this one we are getting pulled at 20 or so we got no brakes, at 20 seconds that noise is the door hitting a tree.

this is where it gets bad, shoots flames at 10secinds in the vid, then just gets worse and worse. as its shooting flames my friend is stuck inside cause the door is smashed shut..

My guess would be these stop signs are out in the country where people are hard pressed to see another driver on the road besides them... The kind of country roads that have a 45mph speed limit, but everyone does 80mph... Where you get over into the oncoming traffic lane when turning left to let the person behind you not have to tuch their breaks....

We're not talking about high flow traffic here... But I could be wrong... And I'm not saying what they are doing is right... But worse could have been done.. At least they arn't out running people over.... (or are they???)

yeah you have to realize where i am its mainly dirt and country roads. the stop signs we hit are all on dirt roads and no one uses them anyway and in all honesty the ones we hit are on raods that are closed becuase of the flood in june of this year, we are in no means hitting signe on major highways..... and also when it snows more stop signs are taken out by women in SUV's then us.

sflsurfrider, i am pretty sure there are no paramedics involved at all. nothing was crashed at a high speed, for that reason. and no we dont hit people obviously (haha). how can you call me stupid if you dont even know me by the way??

man i guess you had to be there to see how much fun it is just to go beat the $hit out of something till it dies, think of how fun it is to get into a 2WD truck in the snow and go on back roads where there is no chance of cops (my town and neighbooring towns dont even have one), and just not care what you do, you can throw it sideways as far as you want and if it spins around into a bank, who cares....just to clarify we did not go out just to hit signs, that wasnt it at all. the first one actually happened by accident. we set out to what can i say "test" our drifting skills. i think you guys are just getting the idea that we want to destroy all the signs and such in my town. well thats not it at all, we did not take out one mailbox or anyother roadside object(besides a few signs) which were all on dirt roads in the middle of rural PA. and also we hit the same signs everytime its not like we went out one night to get everyone we could, we hit the ones on dirt roads because contrary to popular belief we figured we shouldnt hit any signson a major road. click on my location and look where i am notice all the farm fields, and look at all the woods up north, thats where we were ...

maybe some of you get spoiled and uptight in your nice warm floridia town, if you ever come up north to the $hitty cold PA backcountry come to my house i bet you would have a great time, i mean what else you want me to do the high is 17 dgrees today and i can afford to snow ski right now cause all my cash is going into my ski...

I've got no problem with anyone acting a fool and putting themselves at risk - but when you do things that put other ppl at risk (taking out stop signs, etc), I have a problem with it.

so - build your race car. just keep it on a track (or off a public road) where it belongs.

certainly, buts its not a full race car either, its gonna be streetable. every part of the car is getting strengthed and revamped, but still trying to keep weight low, but according to you my engineering is just gonna be a death trap so i mays well scrap the whole project. i must be to stupid to build my ski too, mays well get rid of it who wants an 06 sxr with all the goodies???
