Holy S#$!... My Daytona Crisis... Any ideas!

Here were my Daytona plans:
Leave from Indiana, PA 3am Sunday
Arrive in Ft Lauderdale, Fl ( I have relative there with two free beds and probably meals for as long as I need, Grandmas are nice!)
Spend Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, in Ft Lauderdale.
Go to Friends relative in Orlando all day Thursday.
Spend Friday, Sat Sun, in Daytona (hotel at driftwood for Friday and Saturday night only).
Drive home On Sunday night to make my first day of classes in the PM.

The Wrench in the mess as of 20 minutes ago!
Well my friend who was to go with me and split the costs just called and is very sick an can not go.
I cannot afford (i figure 500 in gas + 150 in hotel ++++ it all would probably end up costing me close to $900, I just cant do that) to go alone nor do i really want to drive 20 hours on my own.

Now What!!
I dont really know what to do, i figured I would say this and maybe some one will be driving close or some one i could met up with, share rooms with etc...

I am up for anything!!! I was so excited for this trip!!!! If any one has any idea let me know. Any one is welcome to stay with me in Ft Lauderdale if they want to do that... Or i could just go to daytona the whole time if any one wants to do that...

I could even meet some one or pick some one up on my way down if youd like... let me know any one if you can!

Maybe some of the ohio, new york guys could help out.... I could even drive to your places, then we could combine and go from there... seriously im up for anything to get there!!!

Let me know if you have anything.... IM at home and on Dial up, and have to finish working on my trailer....

I started reading your post and all I was thinking is for the last month and a half Dan has been saying he plans to drive and has lots of room. Better yet, he's up your way. Hope you get it worked out.

500 in gas? I doubt it, I spent 260 approx round trip in an old van that got 13 mpg on the way down. I live in MD, and went all the way to Daytona. I was supposed to ride with Dan, but I couldnt be there for Daytona (we had to go back to school on the 2nd!)

looks Like i got this figured out...

blaster800 and I will be driving down together...

blaster800 and I will be sharing a room, Kingknothing and his girlfriend might share a room with me too....

I extended my pre-extended my reservations to Wednesday, Thursday also...
However The company screwed up my (ocean front, with kitchen, and two beds) to a parking lot view, no kitchen, 1 double bed....

I still have to get this figured out... its gonna be thight for 4 to fit....

It's gonna be $500 in gas for us in Massachusetts .1200 miles divided by 12 miles a gallon towing a 4 place and 2 ski's inside the van.That's 100 gallons at about $2.50 a gallon each way =$500:banghead:
Probably less from Pa by $100 or so

I felt bad since I was very close to saying I'd pick him up on the way. Then one of the local riders called me up saying he wanted to go so I had to tell blaster800 I didn't have room anymore.
