So, I'm all giddy with excitement....the New Hampshire and New Jersey crew already chatted with me first thing this morning - THEY'RE giddy too!
What I need to know is this - we're driving over from Orlando.....Google Maps sends us through what appears to be a heavily populated area up Hiway 4 through Deltona and over to 95 north into Ormond Beach.
I'm wondering - is this a good way to go or would we be better off just hopping on 528 east over to 95 and heading up the coast? It looks a little longer, but a lot less crowded with towns/cities (= can haul butt).
What would Jesus do?

I live about 10 mins from where you are flying into and I will be taking I-4 fo sho
Most important thing is when will you be flying in? You guys would really take I-4? It's not bad unless it's rush hour.....or any hour for that matter around the attractions.

Dude - do you have ANY idea who is flying/riding with me???? (Serlin, Jerry Jones and Preston the wannabe inner-circler) Now...add to that the fact that the rental car is in my name, on my corporate credit card, with my corporate discount.....
I'll take "J.C.'s" advice, drive over on 4 and wait until I arrive to get plastered. Thanks for the feebback though - much appreciated };-)~

My point exactly GDFL....we should get on the road around 5:15 p.m. =/
It's gonna suck either way. Especially if a raindrop fell in the last 24 hrs. I haven't really been on 528 at rush hour, but I have been on I-4 plenty of times through that whole stretch you'll be on and it sucks. There's a slowdown at Disney, Universal, downtown, the next town up, and at a bridge over the St John's river (which makes no sense). Another option is to take 417 (toll road) all the way around until it meets up to I-4, just before the St. John's bridge. That would take you past quite a bit of the slowdowns but cost you a few bucks.

Garrett, If she's flying into Orlando she wont have to deal with the parks. But I do agree, if they take 417 till I-4 smooth sailing.
