yes, it possible.
don't be bitter because you can't go
With a good radar detector and not getting caught up in the permanent road construction that seems to be going on in Georgia, maybe you'll do it.

we did 550mi in 7hrs in a van and we were not really hauling ass...
you got it dan.
Last year we made it from NJ to Daytona in a little over 14 hrs.....
That was pulling my big enclosed !
You should be able to do it in 13!!!!
Leave about 10 at night & do the majority of the driving in the dark.......
Your only poential bottleneck will be around Jacksonville that way.
If you go thru Baltimore / DC during the wrong hours, you will kill your time!!
Hurry!!! I'll have CL's waiting!!

Get yourself the MP3 of Jerry Reed's "East Bound and Down" from Smokey and the Bandit, and you should make it no problem.
They're thirsty in Atlanta . . . and there's beer in Texarkana.
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes . . .

Buford T. Justice. Nice.
Anyways, 1000 miles in 13 hours is pretty damn good time.
I drove 2000 miles in 31 hours. That was pulling 1500lbs of Brapple with my fourbanger Ranger, across the continental divide though.

In many States you have to be an active LEO to have these plates. Not in Florida, and I don't think you have to be in Georgia.
im figuring 14 at the most im pulling an enclosed with 8 skis

I'll kick your ass all over the place time travel-wise Dan....
Sacramento, CA to Ormond Beach, FL = 2,881 miles in about 12 hours.
And that includes the time it'll take to rent something really cheezy to drive over from the airport ;)
Do I win a prize for (I think) being the one to travel the furthest?

Hey - I'm also transfering onto a flight that originates in San Diego, CA...which just happens to have three guys, who I'm sure will be more than a handful (I can just see us all now onthe show "Airplane" in the segment titled "Naughty Drunken Jet Skiers Force Emergency Landing").
Don't I get any credit for that?

if you know the key west...the first 125 miles is 25mph..."key deer"....so you have to make up the time by driving like a madman.

As a trucker i will tell you ,yes it's doo-able. Late night and early morning driving will have the least amount of people. The afternoons and evenings will bring out more peolpe out onto the road.
I haul big boats for a living and in the big rig i usually drive for about 4 hours, take a break then drive another 4 then break again. Dont stop too often, you'll lose alot of time.
Personally, i made it to Florida from DC in 15 hours but i'm sure the big rig went slower than your car with trailered skis.
