A couple friends and I are planning on going to this years TX Motor Surf. I've never ridden in the surf, neither have they. We are fairly new to stand-ups (but we do have SUPERJETS). What stuff should we plan on bringing?
Toy hauler RV or tents?
Spare skis? (I have an extra bone stock SJ)
Motorcross Helmet?
Beach Cart (don't have, but might could borrow)?
wife's Suzuki Z250 4wheeler (no hitch on it right now)?
50cc pit bikes?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks,
Aaron

Bring what you need.
RVs are welcome on the beach, much better than tents.
ATVs are welcome, except on dunes.
50s are welcome, except on dunes.
There will be plenty of beach carts, I am sure if you return it in the condition you get it someone will be more than willing to share.
If you have a spare ski, be willing to pimp it out to those without.
ALWAYS protect the noggin.
If you have a crowd (more than 2), bring a canopy and chairs. There is always room under someones canopy, but if you have more than 2, tis best to bring your own for your gear.
Sunscreen, hopefully.

ATV's ARE NOT allowed on the beach.
Golf carts, Mules, Rhino's or other utility type vehicles ARE alowed.

Bring extra spark plugs, WD-40 and jumper cables in case you sink your ski.
Put some di-electric grease in your spark plug caps and zip-tie them on real good.

Spare skis are for sure,
A large jug of water and something to flush your ski out.
Battery Pack
Tools
My 1st trip was in october,
Just you typical camping stuff.
and maybe something to fill your tires up with, in case you have to air down

You only need tow straps if there is big surf otherwise it doesn't matter.
So you don't need them

The most important part is having a video camera recording it so that when you're lying in the burn unit, you can go to break.com and watch yourself running around on fire like the 2,458 other guys combining alcohol and bonfires.
Don't get me wrong, I support this behavior because I just can't help but laugh when watching drunks flailing around on the ground as their buddies eventually stop out the flames. :Banane01:

Drinking only gets us to the level of..well .. "I dont give a ********" attidude.
It however does not impare me to put myself in harms way.
That fire was a simple jump.
I think that the only time I was in harms way that weekend was when I was on the back of Penguin's golfcart and he drove through someone's yard and they came out and bitching at us. So blame it on the Penguin.

No one laughed at me when I had to run out for tows and never gassed up the whole day. :cool2:
And if they did laugh I think Mick, Penguin and All Stock would back their sitdown brother. The only time it sucked was when the tide started rolling out and getting it back on the trailer. Its not the funnest experience. I did get a larger river anchor that should work better for anchoring in the sand.
I just wish Jenn would bring the Octane since I can't ride AllStock's SJ for crap. LOL! Hopefully AS will have the thing put together soon and quit hiding from the threads sulking. Since I can at least get up and cruise in a straight line, I'm sure no one will mind if I borrow again and make an A of myself.

Thats a pretty good price. No shipping.
That thing is a POS compared to Mick's boat. That would be the pace car for Mick. Mick "modifies" all his toys. I doubt he owns anything that is stock... :woot:
I have a Ms.Vegas that has a .18 thats pretty fast. For a small Nitro.
A few weeks ago I bought a helicoptor.
Dont even think about buying one of them 1/2boat 1/2 plane flyers. They are so hard to controll. I have ripped my rear wing off twice.
