When is everyone leaving from up north?

i am planning on leaving late wednesday night early thursday morning

I am leaving wendsday as it stands now.

About 12 or so guys and girls are leaving Monday and will arrive Tuesday so we can be setup before the huge masses get there .:cool2:

I'm towing a 4 place with 2 ski's inside my van and various other vehicles towing and a few guys flying down .

I wanted to leave Wednesday but got over ruled :biggthumpup:

How is the beach area by the hotel for launching? I know it's a drive-on beach, but I am driving the Expedition and don't want to get stuck. I am hoping to get as close to the water as vehicularly possible and lug the ski the rest of the way. I've never been to this function before, is that what most are doing? Is the sand way soft, or it packed somewhat....

just drop it near the water and pull it in yourself. you could also borrow a beach cart, they'll be everywhere.

Thanks man! Didin't know how big the stretch of beach is from seawall (or packed sand) to slushy sand...
