Thanks, So a blaster can run 800cc but I can only run 633cc. That doesnt seam fair. That means I would have to build a new ski.

yeah, no one that i know of running a blaster is still running a 701cc motor ;)

Wow, a 650 X-2 does not stand a chance against an 800 blaster!

why not try the x-2 and see how it goes? i will be buying some buoys and running them at the shore this summer if u wanan get some practice

By the middle of the season I'd given up racing in that class pulled the 650 motor out of my x-2 and put it in a 550 hull just for fun.

Thats not quite true, Dan Hansen won region 3 this year on his insane 800 powered X2, but it is modified to the max. And yes that is a hump hiding a speedwerx pipe. It sits that low in the nose from all the lead weight in the hull, he claims its the only way to keep it down over 60mph.

See if I can fit in a class that I can run my Tubbies and my 800. Let me know when you set the buoy's up. I am already building a SJ and finishing my X-2 so to take on a Blaster whould break me.

i think it is all sport mod. wich your ski falls into
