I might be able to make it. I could drive down to the West Coast on Friday. I could ride Dunedin on Saturday then ride Daytona on Sunday then drive back to Alabama. I would be game if someone could bring my ski to Daytona then bring it back to Clearwater. I would definitely have to leave for Alabama from Daytona so I wouldn't be able to bring my ski back.

my blaster has a pipe, prop, and MSD all on a 61x. that's it, it works great! it used to have that head I sold you before blew the first motor up. It made lots of low end.

I couldn't agree more. The beach is better for driving, there are more girls on the beach, and the waves always seem to be two feet bigger than Daytona. At least that's what I tell Nick everytime I drive up and ride with him. Gotta love your hometown beach break.

We'll have to ride up to check what is close to the Daytona zone. It is Seabreeze BLVD. So that is right in the heart of the Tourist district. There are no hotels by the Smyrna beach zone.

Well, I'm def. not going to make it over this weekend.. I took the Blaster out of the garage Sunday morning after working on it for the past 2 weeks.. Put it on the hose to check all of the hoses and to see how it would run.

It ran killer on the trailer with NO problems at all... So Kristyn and I head out to the beach so I could get the carb dialed in.. So I toss it off the trailer, prime it up, fire it up and head out about 20 or more feet and head back to shore......

Than I notice that it is NOT pissing water out of the pissers.... Talking about PISSING me off.... Yep, no water just steam.....

I take off my gloves and touch the head.... :skull2: HOLY HOT as crap.....
I run back to my truck and grab my comp gauge, YES SIR, I lost 30PSI in both cylinders (Down from 180PSI)..............

So now I have to figure out what went wrong... I was about ready to pull the drain plugs and push the biz-nitch off shore and let it sink.. All of the hoses were in place and there wasn't even any water in the hull.

So hopefully I will see you guys in March for the JK ride.

dion, this happened to me once... but i found a clog of small tiny shells from all that launching at the beach in bellair... it was stuck in the cooling line. does anyone know where to get a strainer cuz i still need one... I saw the same thing happen at daytona ride... (that guy decided to sell that pipe after all that crap)

now, he's about 275 and again..NEVER been on a ski.....He was riding buttis GP760...

He actually fell off and wasnt able to reboard until bill and I dropped off into the water and held the sides of the boat...then he made it up the back.......

if my 65 year old father can do it.....so can Scott

Wavedemon....the last few times I've been there, the shoal is high enough where you have a little beach right in the middle of the inlet except at high tide. As long as he can get to that, you two should have no problem swapping out right in front of the action.

Anyways, I am picking up the new gasket tomorrow from Action and right after I finish replacing my water pump on the Dodge, I will start working on the Blaster again..

If you are running dual carbs it sounds like you might have a leaking needle + seat in that back carb. I would pull it and see if it is worn.
