Me and my dad have been getting into gopeds alot lately and he's finally understanding this obsesseion with modding things and we've been ordering parts little at a time and I ran across a good deal for a 2mm stroked stuffer crank and 36mm big bore kit(2 extra boost ports too) for cheap as crap.(Goped strokers are like $40...ahahah...gotta love the GP/Jetski price diff)

Well I had about an hour into breaking in this engine. Running like a champ even richer then bill gates. Well, Everything is great and I take the first 1/4 screw in on my low and high to start the tuning process.

I'm riding, fealing good and it backfires or something, and back wheel locks up causing me to bust my ass. "Oh ******** I seized it...but how it was still sputtering rich?" Tear down revealed that my circlip on poped out took a ride in my cylinder, then jumps between my exhaust and piston and jams the ring hard, the to the intake side where it buried itself in my piston and made a few passes on the side of the cylinder.

Cylinder MIGHT be okay to use if it was sanded but I'd rather not take the chance. You cant bore these things so its always a chance. Stroker crank came out fine too. A little shavings but nothing that some gas and a airhose wont fix. Cranka nd case bearings are fine.

I dont know if it was a faulty clip or a faulty install. It popped strong and i double decked it was in the gap witha screw driver all the way around.

I found out my error.

When installing to the big bore piston, i grabbed the stock wrist pin by mistake and installed......so as the motor wound up the much shorter wrist pin bounced around and nailed the clip knocking it out.

They did manage to sell me another cylinder and pistonf ro like %80 off....dang

Take it you've never been to a race before? No diffrent then a 50, pit bike and such. I originally bought it for a pit bike because it was much cheaper then 50's and can fold up and doesnt take up nearly as much space as a 50 since my jeep doesnt have alot of room.

Then my dad got one cause he liked mine so much, and finally is understanding modding, so we've been working on them. It's one thign we can do together that we wont argue over.....much
