I have been on the phone most of the afternoon getting quotes and holy sh$#$

Starting off in NJ 08753
then Atlanta 30041
then Orlando 32804
Kansas 67203
Pismo 93449

Then returning a week later

$17,560.00 on the low side
$21,000.00 on the high..

Something tells me this just wont work at all !! (that only takes a big hammer)
They are going by the truck 55', plus miles... (25/28 not stacked ski's should fit in one truck)

(I can ship 1 ski to any of these points for $265.00 one way)

I'm sorry guys..

Anyone have any ideas ?

If, and I mean IF, I can make this trip I would be willing to help a few peeps out if they would help spring for gas. I have a 24' car hauler that could accomodate quite a few skis if loaded properly.

Northwest Florida to Cali with a few stops along the way.

You never know with me...

If I plan it far enough ahead, I could make it...

LeeAnne and Norm have the 20" enclosed trailer you speak of in NJ - but they'll be busy with the closed course race circuit at that time (if you're referring to your Pismo ride in July), so I doubt they'd be available or willing to make the trek then.

I do know they're already down for/confirmed the 4th Annual Smashing Pismo Beach Party which will be the third weekend in October, 2007 - so if folks are looking for a way to get their rides out here then, you may want to chat them up in Daytona.

Remember though, they will be headed to Havasu for Finals, and then STAYING in Cali/traveling to Pismo for this gig, so you'd have to have your stuff ready to go when they leave for havasu at the end of September.

Just a suggestion,
LP

Good point, though it doesn't have an impact on the proposed July Cali ride (other than that trailer will not be available at that time, right?)

Right Matt....that's why I posted the info - didn't want you guys assuming they may be an option for transport in July.

Sorry if I offended with the NJ comment.....Drew Mayes lives in NJ, and when I see him, I usually see Norm and Leanne as well, so I think of them being from the same place. Plus, it's all relative when you're clear on the other side of the nation ...LOL!

it's relative only when your state takes up almost the entire coast
