I'm wanting to start another build this winter. this is something I've wanted to build for a while. I recently bought a 96 stock blaster off ebay and I want to put my motor out of my rev ski into it (new 1200cc is replacing it). I'll also be running twin dry pipes, msd tl and 155mm pump.

I plan on running twin pipes, twin silencers and twin exhaust outlets.

Motor has been pulled and pipes mocked up, in general position. I'll be running a sj fuel tank in the front, pipes in front of the motor and waterboxes or silencers in the rear under the battery. I plan on moving the motor mounts just like bonzi bob's build. I'm leaving the motor at a slant to get the pipe clearence.

A custom driveshaft is being made for the 155mm pump and I'll use a waterdawg pump shoe to fit the pump in the blaster

It's going to be a slow build, I won't have too much time till after the holidays to get crankin on it.

BTW I'm parting out the 701 motor. and wb pump. I'll start a separate thread later for parts

I'm impressed....I didn't think you'd be able to find any of those factory pipe doubles...good find.....we are toying with that idea too...it should be a BAMF

i have been toying with that idea for a year or so. i have a set of speedwerx pipe from a gpr 1200 wich i think would drop right in from the looks of it.
i have no motor to mock up with

you need the factory pipes to make it work, the speedwerx pipes have an odd configuration and would be all ahcked up before you had anything useful

i know the 66e motor is bigger but if i out the pipes up to a 701 all they would need is a dent or 2

the front 2 speedwerx pipes wrap around the motor pretty tight

the factory front and mid pipe would work and would make for a killer dual exhaust with a little waterbox
